Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Dopamine Plus at dopamine.plus (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Dopamine Plus analyses publicly available YouTube video content and generates neural impact reports. These reports predict potential cognitive effects of video content based on computational models. Reports are informational only and do not constitute medical, psychological, or clinical advice.

3. Accounts

  • You must sign in with a valid Google account to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service.
  • One account per person. Automated or bulk account creation is prohibited.

4. Free Tier & Hour Packs

  • New accounts receive 1 free hour of analysis time.
  • Additional hours can be purchased in packs. Hours never expire.
  • All purchases are one-time payments, there are no subscriptions or recurring charges.
  • Cached reports (previously analysed videos) are free to access and do not consume hours.
  • Hour balances are non-transferable between accounts.

5. Payments & Refunds

  • Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
  • All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated.
  • Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase if fewer than 10% of purchased hours have been used. Contact support@dopamine.plus.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm others.
  • Submit URLs to private, unlisted, or non-YouTube content.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or programmatically access the Service without written permission.
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit reports generated by the Service without permission.
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits, billing, or authentication systems.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, its design, branding, and underlying technology are the property of Dopamine Plus. Reports you generate are yours to use personally. The underlying analysis models, algorithms, and interface remain our intellectual property.

8. Disclaimer

Neural impact reports are generated by computational models and represent predictions, not clinical diagnoses. The Service is for informational and educational purposes only. We do not claim medical accuracy and the Service should not be used as a substitute for professional medical or psychological advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dopamine Plus shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Account Settings page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the website at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union, specifically the GDPR for data protection matters. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the jurisdiction where Dopamine Plus is registered.
